1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of EuroCareFinder, including our website, clinic directory, map features, clinic profile pages, review features, contact forms, and related platform features.

By accessing or using EuroCareFinder, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the platform.

In these Terms, “EuroCareFinder”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operators of the EuroCareFinder platform. “User”, “you” and “your” refer to anyone who accesses or uses the platform, including patients, visitors, clinics, practitioners and clinic representatives.

2. What EuroCareFinder is

EuroCareFinder is an online directory that helps users discover and compare healthcare clinics, practitioners and healthcare providers across Europe and other listed locations.

The platform may display clinic names, profile descriptions, services, prices, photos, locations, websites, Google review links, practitioner information, contact details and other directory information.

EuroCareFinder is not a medical provider, hospital, clinic, healthcare professional, insurer, broker, medical tourism agency, booking agent, payment intermediary, regulator or emergency service.

We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, second opinions, medical assessments, clinical triage, aftercare, insurance, payment guarantees or patient management services.

3. No medical advice

All information on EuroCareFinder is provided for general directory and informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and must not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

You should always seek independent medical advice before making decisions about diagnosis, treatment, surgery, medication, rehabilitation, aftercare, travel for treatment or any other healthcare service.

If you have a medical concern, you should speak directly with a qualified healthcare professional. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, you should contact local emergency services immediately.

4. No endorsement, verification or guarantee

The presence of a clinic, practitioner, service, price, image, review, website link or profile on EuroCareFinder does not mean that we recommend, endorse, verify, approve, inspect or guarantee that clinic, practitioner or service.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or reliability of clinic information, practitioner qualifications, licences, registrations, insurance, services, prices, availability, facilities, safety standards, treatment quality, clinical outcomes or patient experiences.

Users are responsible for carrying out their own checks before contacting, booking, paying, travelling to, or receiving treatment from any clinic or practitioner listed on EuroCareFinder.

5. Independent verification by users

Before making any healthcare decision, booking treatment, paying money, travelling abroad or sharing personal information with a clinic, users should independently verify all relevant information.

This may include checking the clinic’s registration, the practitioner’s qualifications, licensing status, insurance, professional memberships, regulatory history, treatment risks, total costs, refund policies, cancellation terms, travel requirements, aftercare arrangements and complaint procedures.

You should not rely only on a EuroCareFinder listing when deciding whether a clinic, practitioner, destination or treatment is safe, suitable or appropriate for you.

6. Relationship between users and clinics

Any communication, consultation, diagnosis, treatment plan, booking, payment, invoice, refund, cancellation, complaint, dispute or agreement is strictly between the user and the relevant clinic or practitioner.

EuroCareFinder is not a party to any contract, treatment agreement, booking arrangement, payment arrangement or clinical relationship between users and healthcare providers.

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, advice, treatment, pricing, refunds, cancellations, complications, negligence, malpractice, professional conduct or outcomes of any clinic, practitioner or third party listed or linked on the platform.

7. Payments, invoices and financial arrangements

EuroCareFinder does not collect, hold, process, guarantee or release payments between users and clinics unless we expressly state otherwise in writing for a specific feature.

Clinics and users are solely responsible for agreeing prices, deposits, invoices, payment methods, refunds, cancellation terms, currency conversion, taxes and any other financial arrangements.

EuroCareFinder is not responsible for money lost, disputed payments, failed refunds, unexpected costs, price changes, deposits paid to clinics, travel costs, accommodation costs or any other financial loss connected with a clinic, practitioner or treatment.

8. Clinic and practitioner responsibilities

Clinics, practitioners and clinic representatives are responsible for ensuring that all information they provide to EuroCareFinder is accurate, lawful, complete, up to date and not misleading.

Clinics and practitioners must only advertise or describe services that they are legally permitted, qualified, licensed and insured to provide in the relevant country or jurisdiction.

Clinics and practitioners are responsible for complying with all applicable healthcare, advertising, professional, regulatory, licensing, consumer protection, tax, data protection, privacy and medical confidentiality obligations.

Clinics must not upload or submit patient-identifiable information, medical records, private clinical correspondence, confidential case details or other personal data belonging to a patient unless they have a lawful basis and all required permissions to do so.

We may edit formatting, correct obvious presentation issues, suspend, remove or refuse clinic content where we believe it is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful, unsafe, inappropriate, unprofessional, harmful or inconsistent with the purpose of the platform.

9. Use of clinic content for platform promotion

By creating, claiming, approving or maintaining a clinic profile on EuroCareFinder, clinics and practitioners grant EuroCareFinder permission to host, display, reproduce, adapt, format and use their submitted profile content for the operation, improvement and promotion of the platform.

This may include displaying clinic names, profile images, service information, locations, descriptions, public website links and other submitted profile information in search results, directory pages, service pages, country pages, social media posts, newsletters, email communications, advertising, promotional materials and other marketing activities connected with EuroCareFinder.

EuroCareFinder will not intentionally present a clinic as giving a medical recommendation, guarantee or endorsement of EuroCareFinder unless the clinic has expressly agreed to that specific statement.

10. User responsibilities

Users must use EuroCareFinder lawfully, respectfully and only for its intended purpose. You must not misuse the platform, submit false information, impersonate another person, harass providers, send spam, attempt fraud, interfere with the website, scrape data, overload systems or use the platform to cause harm.

Users are responsible for deciding whether a clinic, practitioner, treatment, destination, travel arrangement, price or medical service is suitable for their own circumstances.

Users must not submit urgent medical issues, emergency requests, medical records, passport copies, payment card details, bank details, highly sensitive information or detailed health history through EuroCareFinder contact forms.

11. Prices, services and availability

Prices, services, treatment descriptions, availability, facilities, photos and other details shown on EuroCareFinder may be provided by clinics or practitioners and may change without notice.

Any prices shown should be treated as indicative only unless the relevant clinic confirms otherwise directly to you in writing.

You should confirm all treatment details, inclusions, exclusions, risks, eligibility requirements, medical suitability, total costs, deposits, payment terms, cancellation terms and aftercare arrangements directly with the relevant provider before making any decision or payment.

12. Contact forms and enquiry moderation

EuroCareFinder may allow users to submit contact enquiries to clinics through the platform. These forms are intended for initial, general contact only.

To help protect clinics and users from spam, fraud, abuse, malicious content and inappropriate submissions, contact enquiries may be automatically and/or manually reviewed before being forwarded to a clinic.

We may reject, delete or refuse to forward any enquiry that we believe is spam, abusive, fraudulent, unsafe, unlawful, irrelevant, inappropriate, contains prohibited information or otherwise creates risk for users, clinics or EuroCareFinder.

Where an enquiry is approved and forwarded, EuroCareFinder aims to delete the personal enquiry content from its moderation database after forwarding. Where an enquiry is rejected, EuroCareFinder aims to delete the personal enquiry content after rejection.

We may keep limited non-content records, such as a clinic ID, timestamp and moderation status, for security, abuse prevention, operational monitoring and platform analytics.

Users must not include medical records, detailed health history, urgent medical information, passport details, payment details or other highly sensitive information in contact forms.

If you submit sensitive medical or personal information despite these instructions, you accept that EuroCareFinder is not designed to receive or manage that type of information through its contact forms. We may delete such information without forwarding it.

13. Sensitive medical information

Health information can be highly sensitive. EuroCareFinder is not a clinical communication system, patient portal, electronic health record system or secure medical messaging service.

You should not use EuroCareFinder to send medical records, scans, prescriptions, test results, diagnosis details, treatment records, intimate images or other sensitive health information.

If a clinic requires medical information, you should discuss directly with that clinic how such information should be provided, what security measures apply, and how the clinic will process that information.

EuroCareFinder is not responsible for how a clinic uses, stores, shares or protects information after it has been sent directly to that clinic by you or forwarded to the clinic following your enquiry.

14. Reviews and user content

EuroCareFinder may allow users to submit reviews, ratings, feedback or other content. Reviews may be moderated before publication and may be refused, edited for formatting, hidden or removed where we believe they are false, abusive, defamatory, promotional, irrelevant, unlawful, harmful or otherwise inappropriate.

Reviews represent the views of the person submitting them and do not represent the views of EuroCareFinder. We do not guarantee that reviews are complete, accurate, representative or free from bias.

You must not submit reviews that include private medical information about another person, confidential clinic information, discriminatory content, threats, harassment, spam or content that infringes someone else’s rights.

15. Emergency situations

EuroCareFinder is not an emergency service.

Do not use EuroCareFinder to request urgent medical help. If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately or seek urgent medical attention.

16. Account registration and profile claims

Clinics and practitioners may need to create an account to manage, claim or update a profile. You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login details secure.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

We may refuse, suspend or remove profile claims where we cannot reasonably verify that the person requesting access is connected to the relevant clinic or practitioner.

17. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not upload, publish, submit or transmit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, unlawful, threatening, obscene, exploitative, spam, harmful, infringing, malicious or otherwise inappropriate.

You must not attempt to scrape, copy, overload, reverse engineer, probe, scan, attack, disrupt, bypass security, access restricted areas, introduce malware or gain unauthorised access to EuroCareFinder, its systems, users, data or connected services.

You must not use EuroCareFinder to send unsolicited marketing, fraudulent enquiries, fake reviews, misleading clinic information, impersonation attempts or content designed to manipulate rankings, reviews or user trust.

18. Third-party websites, maps and services

EuroCareFinder may include links or references to third-party websites, clinic websites, Google reviews, maps, email providers, hosting services, analytics tools, security tools and other services.

We are not responsible for third-party content, accuracy, availability, security, privacy practices, medical information, advertising claims, payment systems or services.

If you click a third-party link or contact a clinic directly, you are responsible for reviewing that third party’s own terms, privacy notices, policies and security practices.

19. Intellectual property

EuroCareFinder’s name, branding, design, layout, text, software, graphics, features and platform structure are protected by intellectual property laws and may not be copied or reused without permission except as allowed by law.

Clinics, practitioners and users retain ownership of content they provide, but grant EuroCareFinder a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, format, adapt, publish, promote and otherwise use that content for operating, improving and marketing the platform.

You must only upload or submit content that you own or have permission to use. You are responsible for ensuring that photos, logos, descriptions and other materials you provide do not infringe any third-party rights.

20. Platform availability and changes

We aim to keep EuroCareFinder available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, secure or continuous access.

We may update, suspend, withdraw, restrict or change any part of the platform at any time, including features, listings, profile formats, review tools, contact forms, moderation processes and search functionality.

We are not responsible for loss or inconvenience caused by website downtime, maintenance, technical issues, data errors, unavailable third-party services or changes to platform features.

21. Suspension, removal and refusal of service

We may suspend, restrict, remove or terminate access to the platform or any profile if we believe these Terms have been breached, if content may be harmful or misleading, if a clinic profile creates legal or safety concerns, if required by law, or if necessary to protect users, clinics, the public or EuroCareFinder.

We may also refuse to publish or continue displaying a profile, review, enquiry or other content at our discretion where we believe it is unsuitable for the platform.

22. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EuroCareFinder is not liable for loss, damage, cost, claim or expense arising from or connected with:

• medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or aftercare provided by any clinic or practitioner;
• injury, complications, dissatisfaction or poor treatment outcomes;
• negligence, malpractice, misconduct or regulatory breaches by clinics or practitioners;
• payments, deposits, invoices, refunds, cancellation fees or financial disputes;
• travel, accommodation, visas, transport, missed appointments or treatment abroad;
• inaccurate, outdated, incomplete or misleading clinic information;
• third-party websites, Google reviews, maps, external links or clinic communications;
• users submitting sensitive information contrary to our instructions;
• unauthorised access caused by factors outside our reasonable control;
• spam, fraudulent enquiries, fake reviews or misuse of the platform by others.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, special or business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, opportunity, reputation or anticipated savings.

23. Indemnity from clinics and professional users

If you are a clinic, practitioner, clinic representative or other professional user, you agree to indemnify EuroCareFinder against claims, losses, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses arising from your profile content, services, advertising, patient communications, treatment, pricing, payment disputes, regulatory compliance, data protection compliance, intellectual property infringement, misuse of the platform or breach of these Terms.

24. Privacy and personal data

Our handling of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. You should read the Privacy Policy alongside these Terms.

We aim to collect and keep only the information reasonably needed to operate the platform, moderate enquiries, reduce abuse, support users and clinics, maintain security and comply with legal obligations.

Contact enquiry content is intended to be temporary. Once an enquiry has been approved and forwarded, or rejected, we aim to delete the personal enquiry content from the moderation database, subject to technical limitations, security needs and legal obligations.

25. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Continued use of EuroCareFinder after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the platform.

26. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in another jurisdiction.
